A story about astronomy, and saving for the future by traveling back time. 2 Starpiecers tried to save the people who disappeared from the past, but with 1 condition; the Starpiecers must not die from the current timeline, or you may stay dead in that timeline as a Starpiecer. They'll utilize their ability in order to save the people they found, or dug around with more information. Time will travel, from past to future.

Q: Is it going to be still free, even if you released some demos in other volumes of Time Will Travel?

A: Who said I don't? It will be free forever, as I don't own these assets, and they might be non-commercial.

Q: What do you only own?

A: I only own the Time Will Travel story and it's character concepts originally, but i still don't own them assets.

Q: Why use free assets? Is it laziness or a lack of skill?

A: Everything's not lazy, but I lack an art skill due to me going on other activities that I'm comfortable of. So, I happen to use free assets to make this visual novel game possible. Plus, these characters are also made via Gacha Club (+ Life and Life 2), which is already fine for me.

Q: Any ports for Android and iOS?

A: Not possible; there are some game elements that requires some specific file(s) to trigger some ARG elements. Porting to Android will softlock the game.

Q: Who made the Time Will Travel title and logo?

A: That was me, made in Photopea. I have most of the experience with photoshopping.

Q: Was this your first time developing a visual novel game like this? What about the other genres?

A: Yes, this was my first time tampering (aka learning) with Ren'Py and decided to make Time Will Travel interactive with your choices. I don't know about other genres, but I'm not unitely skilled with it.

Q: What has inspired you to make the Time Will Travel series?

A: From an anime called "Erased."

Q: Does it have a wiki page, like officially had a wiki page?

A: It does, and I did it myself! You can view these contents at The Hananezumi Project Wiki!

Q: Should I notify you if your game is recorded on stream or on a YouTube video?

A: Yep, just notify me if you did. I'd be happy to see some reactions! (In a streaming side however; if I already send you here, then that's already fine.)

Q: Can I contribute/donate?

A: I'm only accepting translations, so keep that in mind. I'm only doing this for free, so no donations should be made, as I don't hold any donation perks (eg. early access and bonus content), and I have 0% value with donations you've done. (unless for a new PC and equipment of course; but i have no way of getting the money right away for now)

Q: What was the browser version for?

A: It's the demo version, but the full version will only be available as a downloadable or a Web version sooner. However, my decision will change if there is any issues going on. Linux and macOS releases might not be in effect for this, and they'll might be still as an offline full version of Time Will Travel. As I already asked the Ren'Py community, the Windows releases are not officially dropped. Some features are not available in the Web version, such as ARG elements included in the game where you were required to have a specific file in order to trigger specified ARG elements.

Q: About Time Will Travel; is there gonna be a single visual novel with all volumes combined? (eg. Complete Edition)

A: Yes, but it might limit itself on the browser version. Both the original and the Green Hour edition is separated, because the Green Hour edition behaves as a game DLC. However, this is not required as RPA distributions were already a thing.

Q: "Wait, this isn't the Time Will Travel I remembered! What happened with the volumes?"

A: If you don't know, then note that plans can change overtime, and i have already changed my plan from separating volumes as a standalone to merging all volumes into a single game. Volume 1 is the default DLC as the development of that volume still ongoing, and I'll include new volumes as a downloadable RPA file that you can plop inside the game files.

Excellent!

tHIS IS just the kind of creativity renpy and

asset collections on sites like itch are made for...

I have made a few sound, character, and ambient track packs on itch.

I have the opposite issue, where i enjoy working with sounds and character art,

but i lack the time and story to put them together.

Feel free to check my page, in particular the characters/avatars pack,

i will gladly allow you free downloads of anything not free,

on the condition if you use them in a project, you make lots and lots of money.

Perhaps with a small slice for old Delusion Drive here :)

Ill download this project and take a look,

but honestly since ive been collecting and posting assets, making demo videos, and designing Pixel art characters, i havent played a single game...

or watched a show, or movie, etc...

But yeah, if you have a few characters you like, i will consider making a pack around them, or creating similar characters, specially for your thing...

That way youll own it, you know...

ehey! thanks for the feedback! but i will clarify some things here:

with me using any character templates/pack (even yours if available) is completely fine for me, but this was an optional thing. i'm highly used to Gacha Club at that time when i was creating character concepts, but now it's a visual novel appearance.

Speaking of money though; this visual novel is completely free without donations, nor it's a pay-what-you-want. i haven't set up my payments yet, but i only do this as a free-to-play visual novel without spending a dime to donate in order to keep me developing with new visual novel titles in the future. to clarify that, i don't have my Patreon (or Ko-fi) linked in here, nor do i have one.

if you want to make a character pack, please note that there will be a lot of Time Will Travel characters than this current volume. It's up to you, but remember that it's completely optional.
